Biography

A member of Ireland’s U20 Junior World Championship side, the lock made the move from Leinster to the Ulster Academy in 2012 making his senior bow in that same year against his former Province. Alan is one of the most experienced players in the Ulster team and regularly captains the side. A selfless leader, Alan is great at organising the tight five in defence and is very strong at set pieces.
