Nathan Doak

Scrum Half

Biography

A versatile young player with a bright present and future for Ulster. Scrum-half, Nathan Doak is from Lisburn and made his senior debut against Munster in December 2020 – 11 years to the day since he ran out as a mascot against the same opposition. The youngster played an important role in getting Wallace High School into the Danske Bank Schools’ Cup Final in 2020, before the onset of COVID-19 resulted in the cancellation of the match. Doak also made his presence felt in Ulster ‘A’ games during the 2020-21 season before featuring again for the senior team during the Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup. He has since become a regular in Ulster match-day squads. Doak's kicking, whether to gain territory or to score conversions, is a strong point of his game and is something he is always practising. With a maturity beyond his years, Nathan is looking to continue his progression into 2024/25.
