#respectURgame aims to highlight the issue of respect in rugby, and provide tools and support for clubs and schools to make sure that respect thrives through all levels of rugby in the province.
Ulster Rugby has launched an updated Code of Conduct for all players, coaches, volunteers, referees and spectators as part of the #respectURgame campaign.
Ulster Rugby’s Head of Rugby Development, Chris Webster commented:
“It’s vitally important that everyone associated with the game is aware of our Code of Conduct, and so I would encourage people to take a few minutes to make themselves aware of the key messages.
“We recognise that for most, these principles will be familiar and demonstrated every day; we want to see that continue.
“For those involved in the game as players, coaches, volunteers, referees and spectators, the quality of their rugby experience is crucial; this is greatly enhanced when we respect each other and respect the game. These principles help guide all of us on what this quality experience looks like.
“I’d like to thank everyone for the good work that they do in promoting rugby across the province in clubs and schools, and for championing the #respectURgame message.”
