Saturday evening saw Armagh Rugby Club host it's annual dinner at The Palace Grounds.
This year the club was honored by Ulster Rugby Coach, Mark Anscombe, who graciously accepted the role as key note speaker. Anscombe, hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, spoke passionately of his hopes and plans for the Ulster team in the coming years.
Another honoured guest speaker was Pat Fitzgerald, president of the Irish Rugby Football Union. Pat gave a detailed insight to club members and guests alike of the plans to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup in Ireland.
The guest list also included Bobby Stewart, Vice President of the Ulster Branch of the IRFU. Although Bobby is no stranger at Armagh, he was keen to praise the club on their recent achievements both on and off the field and his presence at the Armagh RFC dinner was greatly appreciated by all.
