Mini Rugby
Mini rugby is designed to introduce the sport to children and involves a smaller ball and pitch and reduced numbers. It is one of the biggest participation streams of rugby in Ulster and is widely played across the Province.

Half-Time Rugby at Affidea Stadium
At each Ulster Rugby match at Affidea Stadium, mini rugby teams from across the Province are invited to participate in half time exhibition games.
It provides aspiring rugby players with the fantastic opportunity to play on the same famous pitch as their Ulster Rugby heroes, with encouragement from thousands of fans.
SPAR NI Mini Rugby Festivals
SPAR NI will be the primary sponsor of mini-rugby activities supporting the club’s grassroots community outreach and will be Ulster Rugby’s first ever community partner.
This partnership will support the next generation of rugby players, coaches and referees by providing them with the knowledge and skills to develop their understanding of the rules of rugby and behaviours required to play the game across the province through the Mini Rugby festivals.
