Ulster Carpets U18 CE Bowman Cup: Coleraine 8-20 Banbridge
In driving rain and wind at Kingspan Stadium, it was Player of the Match Denis Kerr who got the first points of the day when he slotted an early penalty for Banbridge.
James Francis Burns kicked one in reply to draw Coleraine level at 3-all, but Banbridge scrum-half David Kehoe sold a dummy to snipe in under the posts for the first try of the game, with Kerr easily adding the extras.
Coleraine then had Ben Neely shown a yellow card for a dangerous tackle, before Kerr kicked another 3 points on the stroke of half time to give his side a 13-3 lead.
In the second half, Kerr sent right winger Calum Toal into space, and the winger had the speed to make it into the corner and score a decisive try. Despite the tough angle, Kerr nailed the kick to make it 3-20.
Coleraine fullback Neely then scored a breakaway try to reduce the deficit, but the damage was done and Banbridge held on to record the win which wrapped up a treble, as they had already won the League, and the Nutty Krust title.
Ulster Carpets U16 RB Fleming Cup: Co Cavan 12-26 Rainey OB
Rainey secured a League and Cup double as they recorded a good win over Cavan in the U16 final at Kingspan Stadium.
Rainey scrum-half Connor Kennedy broke down the blindside and released fly-half and Player of the Match Joseph Cassidy to score the first try of the game, before number 8 Charley Maxwell extended their lead with the second try.
Daniel Ennis-McManus added the conversion to make it 12-0, before fullback Ronan Doherty ran a superb line to break through the defence and touch down under the posts, with Ennis-McManus again adding the extras to make it 19-0.
Openside Luke O'Connor then darted in off a pick-and-go to score under the sticks, leaving another easy kick for Ennis-McManus to make it 26-0.
Cavan hit back with a breakaway try by Oisin Molloy, which was converted by Lachlan Maguire, before a well-worked penalty saw fullback Freddie McGuigan add another try.
However, it was too late to mount a further comeback, and Rainey OB lifted the Cup.
Ulster Carpets U14 Development Cup: Ballynahinch 0-22 Virginia
Virginia did the League and Cup double by securing the U14 Cup in the most dominant victory of the day.
Despite an impressive start by Hinch, it was Virginia who scored first when number 8 Eoin Clarke picked from the base of the scrum and powered his way through several tackles from the 22.
Player of the Match Matt Lynch then did well to gather a crossfield kick, and from the deck he popped a smart pass to Cillian Walsh who was able to score, with Milo Stafford converting.
Virginia second row Alex Dowd barged over in the corner into the second half to give them a commanding 17-0 lead, before captain Brian McCormick combined well with Walsh, with Sean O’Reilly diving into the corner to make their victory certain and secure the U14 cup.
