Match Preview
The Wolfhounds will aim to seal their place at the top of the Celtic Challenge table with a win against Wales' Brython Thunder. The Wolfhounds continued their impressive form with a 12-40 bonus point away win against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium.
That result meant the Wolfhounds have recorded two bonus point wins in succession after wins against Clovers, Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors in the first three rounds.
Players to watch
Brittany Hogan:
A powerful back row player, who looks at home in the number eight shirt. Hogan is an Ireland international, who has been in great form during the tournament. The Killinchy woman has been on fire during the tournament and was on the scoresheet against Glasgow Warriors last weekend, after powering over from a 5m line scrum. Hogan's ball-carrying and ability to break lines are huge strengths of her game.
Niamh Marley:
One of the most exciting players in Irish rugby, Marley has backed up her form in Ulster's interprovincial series with the Wolfhounds. A speedy, aggressive winger, Marley is a strong runner who has ability to beat defenders and break defensive lines with her speed. Marley also has a good kicking game and is aggressive in her defensive efforts.
Sophie Barrett:
19 year old Sophie Barrett has been shining for the Wolfhounds in the front row, after previously playing for Ulster Women in the back row. Barrett has experience with Ireland U20s and is a powerful ball carrier at such a young age. Barrett got herself on the scoresheet against Glasgow Warriors after a powerful carry, taking two defenders with her as she powered over the whitewash.
