ULSTER RUGBY STARS VISIT AUGHER PS

Budding rugby players at Augher PS were handed a boost on Wednesday when Peter Nelson and Paul Rowley made a surprise visit to deliver a training session.

The duo passed on some tips to the youngsters and also made time to sign autographs and pose for photos.
The surprise came just a week after the school had visited The Nevin Spence Centre at Kingspan Stadium to learn more about the history of the game in Ulster and to take part in some interactive games.

The school, which currently has 88 pupils, has recently formed a weekly after-school club for rugby, while the children have also been travelling to Fivemileitown College each Tuesday for additional coaching.
