Current Funding Opportunities For Clubs

TESCO CHARITY TRUST COMMUNITY AWARDS

Grants of between £500 and £2,500 are available to registered charities and not for profit organisations, including sports clubs, that are based in areas in the UK where Tesco has stores.

Funding is available to provide practical benefits, such as equipment and resources for projects that directly benefit health, sustainability or opportunities for young people. Projects that may receive support include the following:
- Improving diets and encouraging healthy eating
- Involvement in sport and physical activity
- Education and training programmes
- Support to vulnerable and disengaged groups
- Learning programmes for young people with disabilities
- Reducing food waste
- Local eco initiatives that contribute to global environmental impact, such as energy reduction, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, water conservation
- Projects that encourage sustainable living, such as reducing environmental impact and promoting social benefits

The deadline for applications is 21st September 2014 (midnight).

SPORT NI SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME

Sport NIs Small Grants Programme, Active Awards for Sport has now re-opened for applications.

Applicants can only hold 1 award in a 12 month period. If your organisation was successful in Round 1 (Letter of Offer issued June 2014) you are ineligible to apply. Please click here for examples of organisations/projects that were successful in round 1.

Eligible groups can apply for grants from £1,000–£10,000. The current round of funding will close at 12 noon on 20th October 2014.

Download the programme Guidance Notes and attend one of the information sessions. Sport Northern Ireland recommend you carefully read the guidance notes before completing the application form. Information Sessions:
Sport Northern Ireland will be delivering three Information Sessions in September 2014 in Belfast, Derry/Londonderry and Cookstown. These are set times and will take place in a group.

Derry/Londonderry - Waterfoot Hotel
Wednesday 17th September, 6.00-7.00pm

Cookstown Leisure Centre
Monday 22nd September, 6.00-7.00pm

Belfast - House of Sport
Tuesday 23rd September, 6.00-7.00pm
