Tuesday and Wednesday saw two great days of tag rugby played at the Mid-Ulser Sports Arena, Cookstown and the Valley Leisure Centre. Unfortunately Thursday's Junior and Senior 7s competitions planned to take place at Clogher Valley RFC had to be postponed due to the inclement wether. The five schools scheduled to play at Virginia RFC also missed out on Thursday due to the heavy rain in the preceeding days.
This year was the first year where there were three levels of participation offered; Development Danske Bank Tag for newer schools, Competitive Danske Bank Tag for the more established schools with Junior and Senior 7s available to those schools that were keen to progress to the contact version of the game.
38 schools signed up to take part throughout the week, with 37 teams involved in the various levels of Danske Bank Tag and 18 teams opting for the contact 7s format.
The quarter and semi final stages of the Danske Bank Tag will take place over two venues: Cookstown on Tuesday 14th March and the Valley Leisure Centre on Thursday 16th March and the following schools will be involved:

Aquinas will unfortunately not be able to participate.
The winners at Cookstown will meet the winners of the Valley Leisure Centre in the Danske Bank Girls' Tag Schools Cup Final at the Kingspan Stadium on Monday 3rd April.
The Junior and Senior Ulster Girls' Schools 7s competition will likely be rescheduled to take place after Easter when the pitches may be more conducive to fast expansive rugby.
