'Get Active with Ulster Rugby', in collaboration with Active Belfast, have been running an over 35 men's fitness bootcamp at Malone RFC and a mum's fitness bootcamp at Belfast Harlequins RFC.
Over the past few years, Ulster Rugby have run a number of school and club based fitness initiatives with the aim of improving participant’s overall health and wellbeing while raising awareness of the importance of being both physically and mentally active.
Through funding received from Active Belfast, Ulster Rugby have been running an over 35 men’s bootcamp at Malone RFC and a mum’s bootcamp at Belfast Harlequins RFC. These events have included elements of rugby and general fitness in a positive and fun environment. Community dietician, Grainne McCracken from the Belfast Health Development Unit has also been running nutritional workshops as part of the wider programme.
