James McNabney undergoes surgery after ACL injury

Ulster Rugby can confirm that forward, James McNabney, has undergone surgery after sustaining an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in training ahead of the Ireland Senior Men’s Summer tour.

The 22-year-old, who plays across the back row, was called up to the squad as a training panellist after his strong performances across the 2024/25 season in an Ulster jersey.

Following surgery, James will begin a rehabilitation programme with the Medicine Performance team.
