Ulster hope to notch their first win of the pre-season, after coming close to a victory in Treviso against Bennetton Rugby, who won a two point game by 24-22.
The match gave some vital minutes in the legs for Ulster's Ireland internationals such as Robert Baloucoune, Tom Stewart and Nick Timoney.
A number of development and academy players also got the workout in Italy, with academy prop Cameron Doak getting on the pitch to play in the same match as his brother Nathan, who proudly captained the side.
Development centre Ben Carson scored a try for Dan McFarland's side, with Dave McCann, Nick Timoney and Shea O'Brien also getting on the scoresheet.
Meanwhile, Glasgow crank up their pre-season, as 14 of their Senior Side impress in Pool B of the Rugby World Cup in France. The Warriors' Ali Price, Ollie Smith, Rory Darge and Huw Jones have all made impressive outings in Gregor Townsend's team, as they prepare for a huge clash against Ireland this coming weekend.
The Warriors come in to the match off a tight pre-season win against Ulster's opening URC opponents, Zebre Parma, with the Scots winning 33-29 against the Italians at Scotstoun Stadium.
Franco Smith fielded a mixture of senior and academy players in the match, with captain Jamie Dobie and winger Kyle Rowe impressing for the Glasgow men.
Last Time Out
Ulster last faced Franco Smith's men in February, where the Scottish side emerged the winners in horrific weather conditions, with a 17-11 victory at the Scotstoun Stadium.
The match will be remembered for a tough night as the slippery ball played havoc for both sides, but Ulster fans may remember that academy product Harry Sheridan marked his impressive start to his Ulster career with a first try for the Senior side.
Alan O'Connor scored a first half try for Ulster but Glasgow edged infront with impressive tries from Scottish Internationals Jack Dempsey and Fraser Brown in the second half, putting the scoreline out of reach.
The result had meant the Warriors went an impressive ten matches in a row unbeaten at home, showing how the Scotstoun is something of a fortress for the Glaswegians.
