The visitors enjoyed a period of pressure early on, and after a patient build-up, loosehead prop Chloe Pearse powered over in the right-hand corner, Nicole Cronin converting.
Ulster responded by pinning Munster into their 5-metre line through the boot of Jemma Farrell, however Munster later earned the penalty to get out of immediate trouble.
The hosts found themselves under the cosh but their powerful scrum on their 5-metre line produced a penalty and relief.
Ulster struggled to get out of their 22 despite their quick line speed and solid defending. Munster’s second row, Siobhán McCarthy eventually found her way through for their second try of the afternoon.
Munster claimed their third try on 22 minutes, with scrum-half Muirne Wall taking the penalty advantage to go through a gap and run in under the Ulster posts. Nicole Cronin’s conversion was good, making it 0-19.
Ulster’s excellent offensive and defensive maul work created opportunities. Centre and vice-captain, Fiona Tuite went on a storming run towards the try line, but was brought down just short. The Ulster Women sent their forwards on the pick-and-go, and skipper, Beth Cregan was the one to call for the ball and flummox Munster’s defence with the dummy to score a fantastic try. Jemma Farrell’s conversion attempt drifted just left of the posts.
Before the end of the first half, Munster replied through winger Chisom Ugwueru making a strong run down the left wing to go in under the posts. Nicole Cronin drilled over the two.

Munster started the second half as they finished the first. Hooker, Edel Murphy made the initial break to find her fellow front row, Chloe Pearse in support to claim a brace. Cronin’s kick went wide.
Eleven minutes later, Munster got another score through out-half, Nicole Cronin sneaking in at the corner. She couldn’t land the kick to convert her own try.
Ulster had some notable individual moments from Ilse van Staden counter-rucking to make the poach, and a crucial try-saving tackle from full-back, Dolores Hughes, but the hosts struggled to gain purchase.
Vodafone Player of the Match, Chloe Pearse once again punched over for Munster to complete the hat-trick. Rachel Allen took over the kicking duties and slotted the extras.
The visitors had the final say on 77 minutes, with replacement prop, Aoife Moore crashing through for the try and Allen notched up the conversion.
The Deloitte Ulster Women's team's next game is a trip to Energia Park to face Leinster next Saturday.
