The recent international break that halted Ulster's three match away block gave the squad a chance to rest, recuperate and gear themselves up for four vital games that defines the province's season.
Ulster are hoping to chase down DHL Stormers who sit in second place in the URC table and a win against sixth placed Vodacom Bulls would be vital in the province's hopes to secure a home Quarter Final and potential home Semi Final.

For Nathan Doak, the break almost came at the worst time as he signed off with a Man of The Match award for his performance in the 20-42 win against Cardiff. It was well deserved after scoring a try and nailing an impressive six out of six conversions.
For 21 years of age, he's taking the responsibility in his stride and enjoying the pressure of the number 9 shirt.
"It’s a massive privilege, we have good goal kickers in the team. It is great fun and hopefully I can get 6/6 conversions again this weekend! You need to enjoy it."
Not only playing well from a personal point of view but Doak adds that the team were getting better each week before the break. The last home match was back in January, a home win against DHL Stormers, and playing at Kingspan Stadium is something that teh Lisburn man is craving to get back to.
"We have all missed playing at home, there is nowhere better to play in front of your friends and family. It's always fun to play in and hopefully we can have a good atmosphere on Saturday.
We were building good momentum before the break. We have had a good training week and have been working at adding layers to our game, hopefully we can show that."
Doak says that despite the Bulls recent poor run of form the Pretoria side won't be taken lightly by the in from Ulstermen.
" The Bulls are hurting, they could be a bit of a wounded animal, they will be looking to come here and turn their season around.
A bit like ourselves not too long ago, maybe we turned ours around quicker than theirs. We touched on it today and know that we are in the business end of the season."
As somebody that practises constantly to perfect his kicking technique, Doak was full of praise for Grand Slam winning captain and now all time Guinness Six Nations point scorer, Johnny Sexton.
Paying tribute to the achievement Doak says "Sexton had quite remarkable career. The kick he finished off with to the right hand side was a fitting way to end things in his six nations career.
Its been special to grow up watching him. Seeing what he can do at that age, it’s a great inspiration."
For now Doak aims to continue his form going into a crunch part of Ulster's season.
