ULSTER BANK LEAGUE DIVISION 1A

Young Munster (3rd) v BALLYNAHINCH (7th), Tom Clifford Park

Limerick will hold no fears for Ballynahinch when they visit Tom Clifford Park to take on Young Munster. Despite their 17-24 home defeat to Cork Con, 'Hinch squad will travel with a lot of confidence in the knowledge they can match the pace and power of their opponents. Young Munster recorded a well-earned 26-18 win over St. Mary's College last week, with outhalf Brian Haugh the stand out player. He contributed 18 points, including two tries, so will have to be watched closely by the 'Hinch midfield.

ULSTER BANK LEAGUE DIVISION 1B

DUNGANNON (8th) v Dublin University (9th), Stevenson Park

Both sides will be keen to return to winning form after very disappoints defeats last Saturday. For Dungannon, there was the extra problem in that their fullback Mark O'Shea sustained a serious ankle injury in the 20-10 loss to Malone.

They do, however, have some other very useful backs, none more so than former Ireland U20 player Peter Nelson. Former Ballymoney wing Cormac McCartney showed his potential by scoring a fine try in his AIL debut. The Sinnamon brothers provide a strong front row for the 'Gannon forwards. Again the release of Ulster players will determine the outcome of this game.

Dublin University fell some way short of the standards which earned them third spot last season when going under 25-7 to Corinthians. They played well enough to lead 7-6 at half time but then fell away alarmingly in the second half.

UL Bohemians (10th) v BELFAST HARLEQUINS (7th), Annacotty

Belfast Harlequins are also looking for their first victory after going under 29-21 at home to Buccaneers. Neil McComb, scorer of two tries in that game, provides the main threat to UL Bohs.

Despite scoring three tries in all, they failed to secure any points from the game. 'Quins will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Limerick and take the points from a UL Bohemians side that conceded six tries in their 36-9 away defeat to Terenure.

Buccaneers (2nd) v MALONE (4th), Dubarry Park, 7.30pm

Buccaneers demonstrated how powerful their challenge will be in this league by coming back from a 21- 8 deficit at Deramore Park to score 21 unanswered points in the last quarter, securing the maximum 5 points. Buccs boast an extremely potent backline and their outhalf Jack Carty is a deadly golakicker.

Malone's promotion credentials will be fully tested at Dubarry Park but they should provide a real test, having also won their first outing against Dungannon. They were slightly erratic last season but on their day are capable of playing some very good rugby. This Saturday Night Lights game could be well worth catching.
