Senior Women to debut new 2023/24 Ulster Rugby kit

Ulster Rugby’s Senior Women will line-out in this season’s home kit for the opening fixture of the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship against Munster at City of Armagh RFC this Saturday (KO 3pm).

The new jersey, which launched last week, will proudly feature Ulster Rugby’s charity partner, Horatio’s Garden.

After recently announcing that the club will continue its support into the 2023/24 season, as Horatio’s Garden progresses construction on a restorative, accessible garden for patients with spinal injuries at Musgrave Park Hospital, Ulster Rugby is committed to continuing to raise awareness of the charity.

On the news of the logo on the front of the shirt, Ulster Rugby Senior Women’s player, India Daley, said:

“It’s a great feeling to have the Horatio’s Garden logo on our jersey. We know that the charity has impacted so many people in a positive way through the gardens it has already built.

“The new garden being built at Musgrave Park Hospital will provide a safe place for patients and their families to spend time, free from a hospital environment.

“We are really proud to support Horatio’s Garden.”

Following a visit to the site at Musgrave Park Hospital early this year to mark the beginning of the build, Ulster Rugby players, India Daley, Toni Macartney, and Stacey Sloan, together with Ulster Rugby President for the 2022/23 season, Philip Gregg, visited the site last week to catch up with Dr Olivia Chapple, Founder & Chair of Trustees of Horatio’s Garden, and her team to find out how the build is progressing.

New sponsors for the Women’s game in the province, Power NI and Bank of Ireland, will feature on the back of the 2023/24 Ulster Rugby Senior Women’s jersey.
