Roy Lawton, Ulster Rugby's Community Rugby Coach for the West Belfast area, is currently delivering a six week coaching block to the Year 11 girls. There has been great interest to date and it is hoped others in the Beechmount Avenue school can also get an introduction to the game in the near future. This coaching assistance has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.
