‘Walk To’ with Bank of Ireland | Week Three

Ulster Rugby’s ‘Walk To’ programme, supported by Bank of Ireland, is now well underway, having launched on Monday 12th April with the aim of encouraging the rugby community across the province to walk a combined total of 3,960 miles / 9,102,342 steps – the equivalent of walking from Kingspan Stadium to every club in Ulster and back again.  At the time of writing, members of the rugby community have walked 3,158,966 steps -  over one third of the target  People young and old from Academy, Ards, Ballymena, Ballynahinch, Belfast Harlequins, Belfast High School Former PupilsDonaghadee, Finn Valley, Grosvenor, Omagh Academicals and Virginia have all taken part so far. Finn Valley lead the way with the highest number of entries, and Grosvenor and Virginia are not far behind.  Ards Club President, Paddy McGrattan, challenged Director of Rugby, Stephen Nutt, to literally walk from Kingspan Stadium to Hamilton Park, the home of Ards Rugby Club, on Friday 30th April.  [caption id="attachment_39480" align="alignnone" width="768"]Image removed.
