Key Matchday Information

For all those attending the match, please note the following regulations at San Mamés Stadium:

Gates for GA access will be opened 2 hours before kickoff at 7.00pm.

Bag Policy:

  • The Bag Policy at San Mamés Stadium allows spectators to bring in small bags up to the size of A4 ie. Handbag size. All bags will be searched on entry and no bags larger than A4 will be permitted into the venue. 
  • A Bag deposit is available at the Fan Zone, as illustrated at the Fan Reception Zone on the map above.

For any keen photographers, cameras with a detachable lens won’t be allowed in the stadium.

  • Txuleton is a large aged steak usually shared between large parties.
  • Need a pick me up before the big game? Kalimotxo is a half and half mix of Red Wine and Coca-Cola, don't knock it till you've tried it.
  • Make sure to drink Txakoli, slightly sparkling white win famous in the region.
  • You have to sample Basque Cheesecake when you're in the region, any local bakery will have the cheesecake as their best seller.
  • If you want to sample the best has to offer head to Mercado de la Ribera, once Europe's largest covered market, you'll get snacks, wine and the finest local produce.
