Saturday sees the Age-Grade Club season get underway with a full programme of fixtures across Under 18, Under 16 and Under 14 leagues.
In all, 46 matches are down for decision as clubs eye a play-off spot following the completion of their regular league programme.
All league games will be played by mid-December, after which a series of play-offs will determine who reaches finals day in early February.
The Under 18 age group sees 33 teams across six divisions.
Divisions 1 to 3 will each consist of six teams, meaning, after a double round of fixtures, each side will have 10 games.
There are also three regional divisions at Under 18. East 1, East 2 and West.
36 teams will compete at Under 16 level where all divisions are regional, as is the Under 14 league where 35 teams will compete for honours across three divisions in the East and West regions.
City of Armagh are the current holders of the Ulster Under 18 league, and they are expected to be among the front runners again this year. They pipped Dungannon to the title last season, and they pair meet in week 3 of this season’s campaign.
Last seasons under 16 league champions Banbridge, are another side that will have aspirations of league glory.
Banbridge’s grasp on the Under 16 league trophy will be tested by Instonians and Ballymena, while in the West section, Strabane and Letterkenny will be among those with an eye on finals day.
At Under 14 level, Dungannon and Strabane are again expected to renew their rivalry. Both went toe-to-toe last term with Dungannon coming out on top after a keenly contested final.
