Fan Zone
The Ulster Rugby Fan Zone at Affidea Stadium opens from 5.45pm.
There's plenty in store for Ulster Rugby supporters this season, as a series of new additions and upgrades get set to make every visit to Affidea Stadium even more enjoyable.
Make sure to keep an eye out for Sparky, who will be welcoming supporters before the game and making appearances throughout matchnight.
Season Ticket Holder Lanyards
Season Ticket Holders will be able to collect their brand-new 2026/27 lanyards at our first URC fixture against Edinburgh on 25 September, details on how to collect yours will be shared in an exclusive Season Ticket Holder email this week.
The lanyard will provide access to exclusive benefits throughout the season, including 10% discount in the Castore Store and access to the popular 9 Counties Bar.
The 9 Counties
Located in the Nevin Spence Memorial Stand, our premium supporters’ area, The 9 Counties, will once again be open all season long
Supporters can enjoy:
✔️ Premium glassware
✔️ Locally sourced food and drink
✔️ A comfortable seated supporters’ area
✔️ Priority access for Season Ticket Holders
✔️ Pre- and post-match entertainment, including live coverage
✔️ Club exhibits, memorabilia, and stories celebrating Ulster Rugby’s proud history
🎟 Season Ticket Holders will receive exclusive early-access to The 9 Counties by showing their exclusive Season Ticket Holder Lanyard at the door.
🚪 Exclusive access: 5.45pm–6.15pm
From 6.15pm onwards, the area will open to all ticket holders, subject to capacity.
Ulster Rugby Foundation
This Friday, the Ulster Rugby Foundation will be fundraising in support of grassroots rugby and inclusive community initiatives through a special match-night raffle.
Volunteers will be selling raffle tickets throughout the Fan Zone, with supporters having the chance to win:
- Signed Ulster Rugby Jersey
- Signed Ulster Rugby Ball
- 4 x Tickets for Ulster v Munster on Saturday 10th October

Public Bars
Join us this Friday and enjoy a host of improvements we've made to our food and drink offerings on matchnights:
- Guinness is back! enjoy a wider range of beverages throughout the stadium, including Guinness, Guinness 0.0, Rockshore Lager
- We also have the brand-new Rockshore Pop-Up Bar, creating another convenient location to grab a drink
- Hosted by SUFTUM On Tour, the former Lineout Bar has been reimagined as The Supporters Bar, creating a dedicated home for supporters on matchdays.
- We've expanded our food offering this season with a wider variety of options around the stadium including new meal deals, including Kids and Family deals designed to make matchnights more affordable
All public bars within the stadium will open at 5.45pm, with live entertainment in the Clubhouse Bar from both before and after the match.

Player Entrance Walk
At 6.30pm, be part of the build-up to kick-off by joining our new Player Entrance Walk. Gather along the route and welcome the Ulster Men as they make their way to the tunnel ahead of the match, show your support and get behind the lads!
The Cool FM Pre-Match Show
Starting one hour before kick-off, Cool FM will host our brand-new pre-match show live from the Cool Stage.
The show will feature player and special guest interviews, expert pundit analysis, team news and line-up previews, highlights from previous fixtures, competitions, giveaways and interactive games to get supporters warmed up for the match ahead.
Castore Shop
Be sure to visit the Castore Shop in the Fan Zone, where you can explore the latest training and travel wear, as well as all three of our new 2026/27 Ulster Rugby playing kits.
Build-Up to Kick-Off
Make your way to your seat or terrace around 15 minutes before kick-off to soak up the atmosphere, as Pete Snodden from Cool FM gets the stadium energised ahead of the action.
New Interactive Light Show
Get ready to become part of the action before the game even begins.
Supporters will be able to connect their phones to our brand-new interactive pre-match light show, creating a stadium-wide display as the teams prepare to take the field. It's a unique experience designed to build anticipation and create an unforgettable atmosphere ahead of kick-off.
