There was another full programme of age-grade rugby over the weekend with fixtures again taking place across the Under 18, 16 and 14 age groups.
It’s been a very competitive start to the season with a number of teams still holding on to their unbeaten records.
In Under 18 Division 1, Dungannon sit top thanks to three wins from as many games. Last weekend they edged neighbours City of Armagh 24-19 at Stevenson Park. The Tyrone side will have home advantage again this weekend as they welcome second placed Virginia to Stevenson Park.
The Cavan side sit two-points behind Dungannon after a 52-17 win over Coleraine.
In Under 16 Division 1 East, Ballymena sit two-points clear of Banbridge and Ballymoney after a 7-5 win over Instonians.
While in the West Division, City of Armagh and Letterkenny are tied on nine points at the top, and the top two go head-to-head at the Palace Grounds on Saturday morning.
It’s also tight at the top of Under Division 1 East where Ballymoney and Ballymena are locked on nine points. Both are unbeaten after three games which means someone’s perfect start is going to end on Saturday morning after they battle it out at Kilraughts Road.
Strabane won the big game in Under 14 Division 1 West last weekend. They made the long trip to Deerpark to take on Virginia and came away with a 17-7 win.
They are now two-points off leaders City of Armagh, but have played one game fewer than the leaders.
