Pool 1 consists of the current Investec Champions Cup champions and French TOP 14 champions, Stade Toulousain, TOP 14 side, Union Bordeaux Bègles, Gallagher Premiership sides, Exeter Chiefs and Leicester Tigers, and finally, last season's EPCR Challenge Cup champions, Hollywoodbets Sharks.
Ulster will not play Hollywoodbets Sharks, due to both competing in the United Rugby Championship.
