38 Primary Schools join Ulster Rugby Tag Extravaganza

Despite the wintery conditions, 43 teams from 38 Primary Schools took part in three Regional Tag Rugby Extravaganzas throughout the Province last week.

Events where held at Stormont, City of Derry RFC and Armagh RFC, with approximately 450 boys and girls taking part. The Tag Extravaganzas mark the end of another season of development work and coaching delivered by IRFU Club Community Rugby Officers and Active Communities coaches.

These schools have been working with coaches for the past few months, enjoying fun coaching sessions with a view to encouraging further participation at their local rugby clubs.

The IRFU Ulster Branch would like to thank all schools for participating and the three host venues for the use of their facilities.
