Antrim Schoolboys Attend Rugby Blitz

Ulster Rugby hosted a Contact Rugby Blitz on Monday that involved over 80 local Year 8 and 9 schoolboys.

Five schools attended the event; Parkhall Integrated College, Larne High School, Larne Grammar School, Carrick College and Downshire School.

The blitz was organised by Ulster Rugby's Community Rugby Coach Alasdair McKee, with assistance from Club Community Rugby Coaches Davy Wilson, Gary Hunter, Gareth Byers and David Smith, and Active Communities Coach Gary Clotworthy.

The delivery of this course was made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme. Â
