In line with Womens Sport Week (3-9 October 2016), Ulster Rugby will be running a special competition for all Clubs within the Province who offer female rugby.
Women’s Sport Week is an opportunity for everybody involved with playing, delivering, leading or working in sport to celebrate, raise awareness and increase the profile of women’s sport across the UK.
In order to increase the profile of Female Rugby in Ulster we are running a competition for all Clubs with female rugby, with the winning Club getting a training session with members of the Ulster Rugby professional team.
How can your Club enter?
- Clubs should produce a short video promoting the female section of their club.
- The advert must go live on social media on Monday 3rd October, along with the hashtag #giveitatry
- The advert should include a defined Club-based #giveitatry event or activity that provides interested parties an opportunity to get involved as either a player or in a volunteering capacity.
- Clubs must make Neal Johnston aware of their new video by sending it to Neal.Johnston@Ulsterrugby.com prior to 3rd October.
- The Ulster Rugby Commercial Department will judge the various entrants.
- The Club judged to have the winning video will win a coaching session at their Club with members of the Ulster Rugby professional team.*
*The winning team will be put in touch with the Pro Team Administrator Sarah Sherry to arrange a mutually agreeable date and time for the session. Specific players cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to Pro Team commitments
If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact Neal Johnston on 07767 115764 or neal.johnston@ulsterrugby.com
Good luck!
