Ballymoney RFC Ladies Section hold Charity Mixed Tag Tournament

Ballymoney RFC Ladies Section recently held a charity mixed tag tournament to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The day was a real success with teams travelling from across the province to take part. All levels of age and ability were on show.

Amongst those who took part were Ireland Grand Slam winner Ashleigh Baxter, Ireland Women's 7's player Nikki Caughey and her younger sister, star of the future, Erin Caughey. Ulster Senior Men's professional Michael Allen also donned a tag belt and lined up alongside some of the younger players to give them a bit of a competitive assistance.

A big congratulations must go to Ballymoney RFC Ladies' Gill Powell and her fellow organisers for what was a very successful and enjoyable day for all involved.
