Ballynahinch Ladies made history on Sunday, when they defeated City of Derry 9-5 in the inaugural Ulster Women's Junior Cup.
The game itself was keenly contested, with Ballynahinch taking a 3 point lead into half time, thanks to a successful penalty from Alexa Grudging. Grudging would convert two more penalties in the second half to put the game beyond City of Derry, despite a spirited rally and late try.
Captain Amanda Maginn accepted the trophy from Ulster Women's Committee Member Rachel Reid and history was made.
