With a strong breeze at their backs in the first half Bangor Academy made the most of the elements by scoring two very early tries to go 10-0 up, with both conversions narrowly wide. Castlederg HS battled back and limited any further damage on the scoreline, showing their physicality defensively.

Bangor Academy started the second half really strongly, asserting their dominance at the breakdown, earning quite a few penalties and marching the Castlederg team down the pitch. A further three tries were scored by Bangor to put some gloss on the scoreline to go 27-0 up.
Castlederg HS can be very proud of their efforts, especially as they ran in two very impressive scores at the death that was complimented by two impressive touchline conversions.
