Black to join Worcester

Ulster Rugby can confirm that loosehead prop Callum Black will return to his former club Worcester Warriors in the summer.

The 31-year-old made 51 appearances Warriors, before moving to Belfast in 2011.

During a seven-year spell, Black made 141 appearances, including the Heineken Cup Final in 2012 and the PRO12 Final in 2013.

Born in Washington DC, Black also played representative rugby for Ireland at Under 18, U19 and U21 level.

Black said: “I’ve had some great times at Ulster over the past seven years and I’m proud to have worn the jersey and everything that it represents. There really is nothing like a Friday night game at Kingspan Stadium.

“But this is a great opportunity for me to return to where it all started for me at Worcester. I have a young family now and its a great opportunity for us to get back to England.

“In the meantime, I’m 100% focused on recovering from injury and helping Ulster towards the business end of the season.”
