Bank of Ireland Senior Cup | Instonians v Ballynahinch

Image

Ballynahinch will be looking to defend their Bank of Ireland Cup title, having beaten Dungannon in last season's final. They enter this year's final after a strong performance in the group stages, topping Group A with three wins from three, having conceded an impressive mere three points across the three games against Banbridge, Queen's and Dungannon. Instonians enter this year's final strongly too, having also topped Group B, with three wins against City of Armagh, Ballymena and Clogher Valley. Instonians last lifted the Senior Cup in 2024, and so the stage is set for this to be a fierce contest. These two sides have never faced each other in a Ulster Senior Cup final, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

They will face the second Hinch team on the day's lineup, Ballynahinch 2XV. Hinch 2XV have had an equally impressive run in this competition, having defeated Cooke, Portadown and Instonians 2XV.
