BT, Official Communications partner of Ulster Rugby, today announced the continuation of the BT Cross Bar Challenge which has given fans of Ulster Rugby the chance to kick for the cross bar from the 22 metre line in front of a packed Kingspan Stadium. Selected through Twitter, five match day goers will take to the field and try their luck on Friday when Ulster face off against European Champions Toulon.
Fans of Ulster Rugby can apply to take part in the BT Cross Bar Challenge by following Ulster Rugby’s Twitter account (@UlsterRugby) and looking out for the #BTCrossBarChallenge hashtag. Participants will be selected at random in advance of the match.

BT Cross Bar Challenge Returns with Search for Ulster’s Next Kicking Maestro
Having given away £5,500 in prize money, BT is now looking for the future stars of Ulster Rugby and has launched the Junior BT Cross Bar Challenge competition. Ulster fans aged between 14 and 16 who think they’ve got what it takes to be the next Paddy Jackson or Ruan Pienaar are being asked to send a video demonstrating their place kicking skills to UlsterRugby@BT.com. The five most creative and impressive entries will be selected to take part in the Junior BT Cross Bar Challenge in May at the Ulster v Munster game. The winning kicker will win £1,500 worth of rugby equipment for their school, £500 in cash and a kicking masterclass with Ulster Rugby coaches.
