BT, Official Communications partner of Ulster Rugby, today announced details of the BT Speed Test, a fun and interactive measure of pass speed and power available to match day goers in Kingspan Stadium. Using state of the art radar technology, Ulster fans will be challenged to record their fastest pass which will be benchmarked on a leaderboard of scores recorded by current members of the Ulster Rugby Team.
Ulster Rugby’s Mike Allen recorded a blistering 48mph pass when the players took part in their own BT Speed Test Challenge this week, unofficially equalling the current Guinness World Record held by Wasp’s Joe Simpson. A video of the Ulster Rugby players BT Speed Test Challenge is available here.
Gina Kelly, PR, Sponsorship and Events Manager, BT Ireland, said:
“The BT Speed test is our latest challenge for fans, giving them the chance to test their passing skill and speed while pitting themselves against the best of the Ulster Rugby team who managed to unofficially equal the Guinness World Record of 48mph.”
