Armoy RFC launched their new mini rugby section, Armoy Wasps, on Saturday 1st August, with around 50 boys and girls aged 6-12 years turning out to take part in the County Antrim club's first mini training session.
Ulster Rugby Development Officer, Shaun Bloomfield, commented: "We have worked closely with club volunteers over the past few months to ensure everything was in place for today. It's great to see so many kids from the local community coming out to take part in mini rugby. Hopefully these young people will prove to be the future of Armoy Rugby Club and will have a long association with the sport."
