CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club) Charity information evenings delivered across Northern Ireland for IRFU (Ulster Branch) Clubs.
The IRFU Ulster Branch, in partnership with Edwards & Co. Solicitors and PwC, successfully delivered four information evenings for rugby clubs based in Northern Ireland. The evenings focused on the CASC ( (Community Amateur Sports Club) scheme, a HMRC initiative for sports clubs to avail of certain tax relief's and its proposed changes, as well as the new Charity Registration that is now up and running through the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
We would like to thank those Club volunteers that attended across the four sessions and to Banbridge RFC, Coleraine RFC and Dungannon RFC for each hosting one of the sessions.
For further information on the CASC or any of the events detailed above please contact David Johnston (IRFU Ulster Branch, Club & Community Development Officer) via email on david.johnston@ulsterrugby.com.
This initiative is funded through the DSD Sport in the Community Programme.
