Ulster Rugby, as well as running a full-time professional team, is the governing body for the sport of rugby football in the Province of Ulster and is responsible for the development of the game across the Province.
We are currently inviting applications for Casual Coaches that will be added to the Domestic Rugby Casual Coaching Register, from which appointments within Holiday Camps, Female Rugby, Disability Rugby and Short Term Coaching opportunities will be made.
Reporting to the designated rugby development staff member, the job holder will have demonstrable experience of coaching at Stage 1 or Stage 2 of the LTPD pathway. They should hold either the IRFU Stage 1 (Mini), or, Stage 2 (Foundation) coaching qualification or equivalent. Having strong communication skills, organisation skills and the ability to be flexible is key to this role.
The precise hours of work will be dependent on coaching requirements and the individual’s availability.
