Caughey In Ireland Women's Sevens Squad

Belfast Harlequins' Nikki Caughey has been named in the Ireland Women's Sevens squad to participate in the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens event this Friday.



The squad includes three new players who have been identified as part of the IRFU's on-going talent identification programme. Martina McCarthy, Katie Fitzhenry and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe make their first appearance for the national side.

The programme, which is open to the wider athletic and team sport community, offers elite athletes the opportunity to join an Olympic programme in what is a new and exciting international female sport.

Ireland have been drawn in group in Pool D alongside Singapore and Japan and all games will be streamed live http://en.hirugby.com/
