Pupils at Cliftonville Integrated Primary School have been enjoying their first experience of rugby after the school invited Ulster Rugby's Community Rugby Coach Alasdair McKee to deliver sessions. Pupils at Cliftonville Integrated Primary School have been enjoying their first experience of rugby after the school invited Ulster Rugby's Community Rugby Coach Alasdair McKee to deliver sessions.

The six week block of sessions have been held at Solitude, home of Cliftonville Football Club.

The initiative has proved to be a major success, with many keen to continue playing. Indeed, they will take part in a blitz event next week involving eight other schools from across the city.

This coaching assistance has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.
