Clogher Win Kukri Qualifying League 1

Clogher Valley have been crowned Kukri Qualifying League 1 champions and will now enter the All Ireland play offs against the other provincial winners.

A 6-3 win over Donaghadee meant they moved eight points clear of Portadown with one fixture to play, having won 15 of their 17 games to date.

The Fivemiletown outfit will start their All Ireland Provincial League Championship away to Wanderers on 22nd March. On 5th April Clogher Valley will play the Connacht champions before travelling to Munster to take on Kanturk.

The winners of the round robin will seal automatic promotion to the Ulster Bank League, while the runners up will face the team placed second from bottom in UBL Division 2B.

The Ulster Branch would like to offer best wishes to Clogher Valley for the competition.
