Ulster Rugby will be delivering a free support webinar in partnership with Openreach, with the aim of assisting clubs and schools as they prepare for the return to rugby activity.

Planning & Periodisation of Pre-Season

Thursday 23rd July, 2pm This webinar will be delivered by Matt Godfrey (Academy Head of Athletic Performance) to outline how clubs and schools can best plan their pre-season training programme as part of the Return to Rugby guidelines. Matt will discuss key themes to ensure coaches better understand how to safely progress training with appropriate intensity, load and activity as players return from a period of limited access to physical activity. IRFU Webinar: #ReturnToRugby - Injury Prevention And A Safe ReturnToRugby

The IRFU will also be running a webinar on Tuesday 21st July at 1:30pm, which will cover the on-field elements of #ReturnToRugby with a focus on injury prevention and a phased return to training.
