Civil Service RFC seek to appoint a Head Coach for 2016/17 season
Civil Service (NI) RFC are an ambitious junior club who will be fielding 2 adult sides and 3 youth sides in the 2016/17 season.
The Club wish to appoint a Head Coach/Player Coach responsible for the adult teams.
The 1st XV will be competing in Junior 3 and the 2nd XV in minor rugby.
Training takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights with matches on Saturday throughout the season.
The ideal candidate should have or be working towards Level 1 coaching accreditation.

Ophir RFC seeks volunteer Youth Coaches
Ophir RFC is based at Magowan Park, Mallusk Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey.
Ophir RFC currently fields five teams - a 1st XV competing in Ulster Branch Qualifying 3, a 2nd XV, U18 XV, U16 XV, U14 XV, U12 XV and has a growing Mini Section. In total we have over 150 playing members and over 100 non-playing members.
Ophir RFC openly promotes grass-roots rugby and strives to give people of all abilities the chance to learn new skills, exercise and socialise with their peers in a safe and friendly environment.
The Club are extremely proud of their cross-community membership and are committed to promoting social inclusion by bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together through the game of rugby.
Role Title: Ophir RFC Volunteer Youth Playing Coach(es)
Location: Magowan Park, Mallusk Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey
Hours of Work: Mid July to April (Ulster Rugby Season)
Wednesday 6.30pm – 9.00pm and Saturday Morning (dependent on fixtures including Ophir RFC 7's competition)
Responsible to: Ophir RFC Director of Youth Rugby
Role Summary:
- Design, co-ordinate and implement training sessions for Ophir RFC youth rugby (team responsible for only)
- Assistance in creation of development plans for all players and promoting optimal levels of Player Development across all senior rugby players
- Ensuring that Ophir RFC fulfill Youth team fixtures including team selection
- Assistance with player recruitment and player retention
- To create an environment that is based on respect, cultural empathy and the traditions of Ophir RFC
- Feedback regularly to the Director of Youth Rugby
Key Relationships:

- Ophir RFC CCRO Ulster Representative
- Ophir RFC Chairman
Experience:
- Previous coaching experience will be advantageous but not necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Self motivated
Training:
- The volunteer will participate in internal Coach Training sessions
- The volunteer will receive Ulster Rugby Coaching Sessions and Accreditation
