Sinn Fein MLA, Daithi McKay has launched a consultation on his Private Members Bill to exempt Amateur Sports Clubs from rates.
The Bill proposes that no Amateur Sports Club should have to pay rates which would bring Northern Ireland into line with legislation in both the Republic of Ireland and the rest of the UK.
