St. Louis' responded with determination, with Kate McGilligan making a powerful surge through the ERGS defence in the 8th minute, only to be thwarted by a staunch defensive effort. However, ERGS swiftly regained control, with captain Leah Irwin crossing the whitewash in the 9th minute, followed by a successful conversion from Amy Meeke, the score now 14-0.
St. Louis' demonstrated their resilience, with Mary-Rose McDonnell executing a remarkable run from halfway to score in the 10th minute, adding the extras to close the gap to 14-7. However, ERGS continued to apply pressure, venturing deep into the St. Louis' 22 in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Leah Irwin once again showcased her exceptional skill, breaking through the line to score her second try under the posts, with Amy Meeke converting.

St. Louis' began the second half with renewed vigour, and in the 16th minute, Mary-Rose McDonnell scored her second try, outmanoeuvring Leah Irwin in a thrilling chase. However, ERGS quickly responded, with Ellen Graham showcasing her strength and agility to score in the 18th minute, evading multiple defenders.
Leah Irwin completed her hat-trick in the 20th minute, surging over the try line. Ellen Graham came close to scoring her second try in the 22nd minute, but was held up just short. In the 23rd minute, Leah Irwin continued her remarkable performance, scoring her fourth try under the posts, with Amy Meeke converting, taking the score to 40-12.
