The clash serves as a direct repeat of the 2025 final, where Wallace High School emerged victorious.
The draw was attended by representatives from participating schools and competition sponsors Danske Bank, including Head of Marketing, Kevin Heavern, alongside Clare Megarry and Nicola Faulkner. Also in attendance were Ulster Schools’ Committee representatives Richard Clingan and Barney McGonigle, and Ulster Rugby Branch President Paul Hart.
The proceedings were conducted by Paul Hart, Kevin Heavern, and Richard Clingan, who determined the pathways for both the Schools’ Cup and the Schools’ Bowl.
Commenting at the event, Ulster Schools’ Committee Chairman, Richard Clingan, thanked Danske Bank for their steadfast support and acknowledged the dedication of the coaching staff and teachers who facilitate rugby across the province.
"Schools' rugby helps boys and girls develop integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect, all values in line with the pillars of world rugby, so a huge thanks to everyone involved who helps to make the matches happen."
In addition, Richard drew attention to the importance of Ulster Rugby and the IRFU's initiative Respect Our Game, highlighting that respect for players, officials and volunteers is the cornerstone of this experience and key to upholding the values of sport.
“I encourage everyone present here today along with your fellow players and coaches back in your schools to regularly and openly promote Ulster Rugby’s respect agenda.”
