Once the games had been played, the draws for the Schools' Cup, Schools' Shield and Schools' Bowl quarter-finals could take place. The draw was held at Friends' School Lisburn to commemorate the school's 250th anniversary. Friends' Principal, Mr Stephen Moore said ‘We’re delighted that the draws for the Danske Bank Schools’ Competitions are taking place at Friends’ today, especially as 2024-25 marks the school’s 250th anniversary this year. It’s been wonderful to have the opportunity this year to celebrate our heritage and to reflect on how the school has grown and developed since it was first established on this site by the Quakers in 1774. The Schools’ Cup itself has a venerable tradition as the world’s second oldest rugby competition and it is a privilege to be involved in it. Our young people derive so much benefit from taking part in team games and we wish everyone well in all of the competitions.’
All quarter finals must take place on or before Saturday 8 February.
