Deloitte Ulster Women's Junior Cup 1st Round Draw

The Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup competition launch and opening round draw took place at Kingspan Stadium earlier today. It was carried out by Pamela Stevenson, Chairperson of Women and Girls' Committee, and Catherine Boal, Women's Rugby Representative on the Competitions Management Committee. Image removed. Last year's competition was played up until the semi final stage. City of Derry and Omagh Accies were due to compete in the final, but it was unable to be played due to Coronavirus, and the Cup was shared between the two clubs. This year's tournament will proceed as follows:
  • 1st Round, 21st November 2021
  • 2nd Round [1st round winners plus bottom 3 from Premiership], 12th December 2021
  • Quarter finals [2nd round winners plus remaining 3 Premiership teams], 23rd January 2022
  • Semi finals, 20th March 2022
  • Final, 18th April 2022
Teams eliminated in the 1st and 2nd Round will enter the Suzanne Fleming Cup. Teams eliminated from this first round will enter the Suzanne Fleming Shield. Teams eliminated from the Deloitte Ulster Women's Junior Cup Quarter Final will enter the Women's Junior Shield Semi Final.
