Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup Round 2 Draw

The following fixtures will take place on Sunday the 12th of December, 2021.

• Ophir v Portadown
• Carrick v Lisburn
• Belfast Harlequins v Cooke 2
• Omagh v Randalstown
• City of Derry – Bye

Round 1

In the opening round of the Cup, Ophir narrowly edged out Lurgan, winning 7-5, Cooke 2s ran in 8 tries as they enjoyed a comprehensive 48-12 win over Queens University 2, and Randalstown crossed the line 6 times in a 30-15 victory over North Down.

Lisburn progressed after Ballynahinch forfeited their tie, with Carrickfergus also going through after Malone 2 forfeited. However, these 2 sides were still able to play a modified game, which Carrick won 33-7.

Lurgan, Queens University 2 and North Down now fall into Round 1 of the Suzanne Fleming Cup and will be joined by the teams eliminated from Round 2 of the Junior Cup.

Final, 18th April 2022

Teams eliminated in the 2nd Round will enter the Suzanne Fleming Cup. Teams eliminated from this first round will enter the Suzanne Fleming Shield.

Teams eliminated from the Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup Quarter Final will enter the Women’s Junior Shield Semi Final.
