Design A Centra Summer Camp Mascot

The “Design a Mascot” competition is open to all school children across Northern Ireland and the lucky winner will receive a free place at the Summer Camp of their choice.

Ulster Rugby's Tommy Bowe and Dan Tuohy join Jennifer Morton from local retail group, Centra and school children Jasmine Girvin, Lewis Wilson, Oriana Moore and Joshua Speer from Cregagh Primary School to launch the Centra Ulster Rugby Summer camp ‘Design a Mascot’ competition for primary school children.

The Province-wide Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by local retail group Centra, are for boys and girls aged 6-12 years and will run between Monday 30th June and Friday 22nd August.  Each camp is five days long and registration for the week costs £50 and includes a t-shirt, a boot bag, a rugby ball and a voucher to claim a free ticket to an Ulster Rugby home game at Kingspan Stadium.

There are also four camps specifically for girls’ aged 12-17 in Belfast, Lurgan, Clogher Valley and City of Derry; and two camps for children with special needs in South Belfast and Coleraine. The ever popular senior camp for 13-17 year olds with previous rugby experience will take place at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown Campus.

Camp application forms are being distributed to schools and rugby clubs across Ulster and are also available from local Centra stores. Details of this year’s Summer Camps, including venues and online booking are available by clicking here
