The game - Ulster's final home game of the regular season - will be played on Friday 20 May, kick-off 7.35pm at Kingspan Stadium.
This will be the Sharks' first visit to Belfast, having joined the URC ahead of this season, and they are currently the highest placed team of the four new South African franchises.
The Sharks squad features a host of international talent, including 2019 South Africa World Cup winning captain Siya Kolisi and his fellow Springbok stars Lukhanyo Am, Makazole Mapimpi and Sbu Nkosi among others.

Season Ticket holders will have access to a 48-hour priority window to purchase additional tickets from 10am on Wednesday 23 March.
Tickets will then be released for general sale at ulster.rugby/buytickets from 10am on Friday 25 March.

United Rugby Championship Playoffs:
After 18 rounds of games, the top eight teams will qualify for the Quarter-Finals, followed by Semi-Finals and a Final. Teams will be seeded from 1 to 8 and will receive home advantage according to their seeding for these fixtures.
